The dynamics of a fight are quite weird, Nurse. The few fights I had at school as long as I gave as good as I got, afterwards we often became mates, or at least stopped disliking each other.
I'm sure other WHOers must have experienced similar.
I suppose a scrap is a blokes way of what women call 'clearing the air' - as we don't have the verbal or emotional dexterity to do it verbally.

Worked in private security when I was younger. Got very lively and very nasty a few times.
But personally about two. What’s the point of two blokes boxing the head off each other. It’s sad and a bit pathetic really when you think about it.

I'm totally shit at violence, hence I've only been involved in one fight since school and that was 30 years ago, involved Catholics and Protestants in Glasgow and I got caught in the crossfire. I kicked someone in the bollocks and the next day I was in A&E getting my foot X-rayed. His nuts must have been in a sorry state.

Quite a few when I was 18-24.
Thankully never got proper hurt, just a few black eyes. I look back on half of them and cringe, most of the time was over nothing and all parties should have just walked away.
Glad I never grew up now with all this stabbing bollocks.

Couple of drunken mini brawls sticking up for others, but never anything too bad, as I'm pretty chilled and more happy than aggressive when pissed.
Have however been in a couple of mass altercations where outnumbered both times have taken a beating :o)
Southend the worst of them where 3 of the fellas I was with ended up fully unconscious on the pavement outside papillon on the seafront. Blokes attacking us were even punching the girlfriends who were just standing there. 20 on 10 is never great, ha ha

Only one. Being 6'3", having played rugby and being a long meant people generally avoided hassling me. Also an unreconstructed hippy so not my thing at all.
Did get attacked at a night club in Morecambe from behind where two guys bundled me over and then a third kicked me in the face while I was down. This made me very angry and, having stopped the blood coming from my mouth, went hunting for the guy who kicked me. Amazingly he was still in the club and caught up with him at the bar. I tapped him on the shoulder and turned to face me then I punched him as hard as I could in the face. He went down like a sack of potatoes and I stalked off. Bugger me it hurt as I'd broken my hand and woke up the next day with a ludicrous trout pout too.

Not sure you can count this as a fight as such, but many moons ago we were coming home from a Xmas do and heading for the taxi rank when a couple of lads started heckling is over the road.
I decided it would be a good idea to moon at them and when I finished I stumbled around trying to pull my jeans up and as I stood up there was this huge cunt towering over me who promptly sparked me out with one punch with, so I was told, a sovereign-ring- clad hand. Made a mess of my eye and was seeing treble for a few days after that, can’t really complain though
